The Trooper u obradi benda Romske muzičke škole

Vreme pandemije ne sprečava mlade muzičare da rade ono što najviše vole – da se bave muzikom. Tako je jedan od bendova Roma Rock School – “Right Turn” – obradio pesmu Iron Maiden-a “The Trooper”.

Iz ove škole poručuju:

Trenutna situacija u kojoj se nalazimo je teška za svakog od nas, ali to nije sprečilo polaznike i mentore iz Udruženja za multietničku muzičku edukaciju Roma Rock School iz Skoplja da više stvaraju.

Pored toga, u proteklom periodu Roma Rock School nije prestajala sa aktivnostima, već naprotiv. Poštujući zdravstvene mere, časovi se održavaju onlajn i na taj način učenici ne gube na napretku u obrazovanju.

Jedan od bendova organizacije, “Right Turn” obradio je pesmu benda Iron Maiden “The Trooper”.

O Roma Rock School
Romsku rok školu osnovao je muzički entuzijasta Alvin Salimovski, maja 2017. Ova muzička škola, sa sedištem u Skoplju, nudi časove različitih instrumenata – bubnjeva, gitare, bas gitare, klarineta, saksofona, trube, solfeđa, ali i časove pevanja i teorije muzike. Takođe, okuplja bendove koji nastupaju na različitim koncertima. Njena glavna misija je pružanje besplatnog muzičkog obrazovanja mladima i deci iz romske zajednice koji dolaze iz ekonomski i socijalno ugroženih sredina. “Nastojimo da povećamo multietničku toleranciju i smanjimo diskriminaciju kroz muziku. Naš cilj je da snagom muzike razbijemo društvene stigme za Rome. Pomažemo mladima da pronađu svoj put, steknu i razmenjuju nova iskustva uz pomoć našeg neformalnog muzičkog obrazovnog programa,” njihova je poruka.

The current situation we are in, it’s overwhelming for everybody, but that didn’t stop the students and the teachers from the Association for multi-ethnic music education Roma Rock School from Skopje, to create more.

Beside, this past period Roma Rock School didn’t stop with the activities, on the contrary, respecting the health precautions, the classes are online, and in that way the students are not losing their educational progress.

One of the bends of the organisation, “Right Turn” made a cover of Iron Maiden – The Trooper.

About Roma Rock School:
Roma Rock School was founded in May 2017, by the music enthusiastic Alvin Salimovski. Music School based in Skopje offers nine different classes – drums, guitar, bass guitar, vocals, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, theory of music, and solfeggio. Also, it assembles bands that preform at different concerts. Its main mission is to provide free music education to Roma youth and children from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. “We strive to increase multi-ethnic tolerance and reduce discrimination through music. Our goal is to break the social stigmas for Roma people with the power of music. We help young people find their path, gain and share new experiences with our non-formal music educational program,” it is their message.
